How we do it
Collabora has four key guiding principles:
- We think strategically and promote the use of environmental assessments earlier than legislation requires to create more value. And we promote the use of voluntary use of environmental assessment, since it in many cases is a strategic advantage
- We think synergies between UN’s Sustainable Development Goals and environmental assessments, since both concepts will benefit of joint efforts
- We think in systems in the sense that many plans and projects are interrelated, and system thinking is needed to grasp the complexity, identify synergies and avoid trade-offs.
- We think through collaboration as shared efforts provides most value. Our aim is to generate competences among partners, as joint efforts are needed to handle the current challenges to sustainability.
